Baton Rouge, LA (PPN) – A Zachary man lost control of his car Monday while driving under the influence with a suspended license.
Louisiana State police arrested 28-year-old Curtis Elliot Loftin in Brownsfield after he lost control of his vehicle and crashed. Arrest reports stated that he ran over a median, hit a light pole, and drove into oncoming traffic before landing in a ditch.
State troopers arrived on the scene and found Loftin impaired and unable to stand. Heroin and Adderall pills were also found in the vehicle, according to reports.
This is the fifth time Loftin has been arrested on DWI charges. He is being held without bond in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
