Off-duty Philadelphia police officer shoots husband in driveway

Northampton Township. PA – Officials in Bucks County say an off-duty Philadelphia police officer shot her husband Tuesday morning before 6 a.m. in the driveway of their home on the block of Marmic Drive.

There is no indication of what led up to the incident but police say the man was wounded in his mid-section. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Three children were inside the home when the shooting occurred but they were not harmed.

No charges have been filed as of yet. Police say the gun that was used was not her service issued gun.
