National Doughnut Day Krispy Kreme, Dunkin’ Donuts free giveaways June 2




(PPN) – It’s national Doughnut Day! Kick off the weekend by getting one of your favorite powdered, glazed, or sprinkle topped doughnut.

The first Friday in June has been celebrated as National Doughnut Day since 1938 in honor of the “Lassies” who served doughnuts to soldiers during World War I. Lassies was a group of female Salvation Army members.

Stop by a participating Dunkin’ Donuts to received a free classic doughnut with a purchase of any beverage.

Krispy Kreme is offering any doughnut for free- no purchase necessary.
