The “Save Our Cities Now” Day of Prayer will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017, starting at 8 a.m. It will begin with a march from the Governor’s Mansion to the State Capitol.
The goal of the event is to connect clergy and churches, government and community leaders, businesses and concerned citizens throughout the state in prayer for Louisiana cities. It is a nondenominational, nonpolitical event sponsored by the “Save Our Cities Now” Initiative and World Link of Churches and Businesses.
“This day of united prayer is so important for Louisiana communities. This is the day that leaders from faith communities, business and government unite to seek wisdom in helping our cities to prosper. This day is just the beginning in our joining every day to support our children, parents, cities and towns,” said Lloyd Benson Sr., founder of “Save Our Cities Now” and World Link of Churches and Businesses.
