Los Angeles – A celebrity photographer accused comedian Katt Williams and rap mogul Suge Knight of stealing her camera. The alleged robbery occurred in September 2014 in Beverly Hills. On Monday, Katt Williams, 54, pleaded no contest to the second-degree robbery charge and was sentenced to three years of probation.
Los Angeles prosecutors say Williams and Knight chased a female celebrity photographer and snatched her camera outside of a Beverly Hills studio. They also ordered Williams to attend anger management classes.
The photographer claimed that she suffered a concussion after an associate of the men attacked her.
According to the comedians attorney, Katt took the camera for a short period of time from an associate only to erase photos of Suge Knight’s son, who was visiting with his father.
Knight pleaded not guilty to the robbery charge as well. Katt Williams had faced up to seven years in prison.
