Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman trial set to April 2018




Brooklyn, NY (PPN) – Drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, leader of Sinaloa cartel has a history of major escapes and captures since 1993. El Chapo is the most powerful drug trafficker in the world.

Last January, he was re-captured after a shootout with Mexican marines. Guzman has met and auditioned at least 16 lawyers on the 10th floor of Manhattan’s federal jail.

The cartel boss had the world’s biggest trafficking operation, the U.S. government is seeking that he turn over $14 billion in narcotic proceeds.

“His money hasn’t been found because he didn’t use the financial system,” AG Raul Cervantes told Mexican TV station Televisa earlier this week.
