Dearborn, MI (PPN) – Ford Motor Company issued a safety recall Saturday for the Ford F-250 pickup trucks. The recall affects about 52,000 2017 Ford F-250 gas-powered 6.2-liter vehicles.
They were built on October 9, 2015 to March 30, 2017 at a Kentucky assembly plant. Some of these trucks could roll while in park.
Motorists are advised to use the parking brake at all times when shifting the truck into park until the park rod issue is resolved.
Currently, there has been no reports of any accidents or injuries associated with this recall. Ford dealers will inspect and replace the park rod at no cost to the customer.
