Baton Rouge, La (PPN) – Tasha Clark Amar, Director of the East Baton Rouge Parish Council on Aging (COA) has sued the family of one of her clients for a second time.
COA Director Clark Amar’s client Ms. Helen Plummer left the estate to Clark Amar, rewarding her with $120, 000 over the next 20 years. Payments of $500 per month were to be made to the director.
Local investigators questioned the decision that was made on Ms. Plummer’s behalf. According to WBRZ reports, the Plummer family was unaware of this information.
After WBRZ Investigative team reports were published, Clark Amar removed herself from Plummer’s will and pursued with a defamation lawsuit. Clark Amar’s lawyer, Charlotte McDaniel McGehee said that her client’s reputation was ruined by the Plummer’s statements spread in the news.
