Dead body found in front of library, suspected homicide




San Diego, CA (PPN) – San Diego County Sheriff’s responded to the 29200 block of Cole Grade Road north of Fruitvale Road this morning. When they arrived about 10 minutes later, they found a man unresponsive with trauma to his torso. A witness saw what appeared to be a fight between two men around 7 a.m. and one of them was holding a weapon.

Paramedics tried to save his life but it was too late.

The suspect is a man in his mid-20s. He allegedly left the area in a older white sedan with a black driver’s side door and can possibly be armed.

San Diego County Medical Examiner’s office will determine the victim’s identity and cause of death once the autopsy is completed. Detectives are still investigating this suspicious death that occurred in front of  Valley Center library.
