Boosie Bad Azz is known for his music but now he is showing the world that he has another gift. Torrence “Boosie Bad Azz” Hatch, has been making big business moves lately in the entertainment world by expanding his brand and now the rapper and entrepreneur will be taking his talent to the big screen.
Boosie landed a role in the upcoming independent indie film Glass Jaw. His character is named Rico. Rico is an underground fight club runner who bets money on the lead character’s fight and wins big.
Glass Jaw is the redemption story of Travis Austin, a one time champion boxer who goes to prison and loses everything. After his release, he experiences the trials and tribulations of redeeming his reputation, his belt, and his true love. It is directed by Jeff Celentano. Producers Steve Perry and cinematographer Jeffrey Kimball reunite on this film, they worked together on the 1993 crime drama True Romance. Executive producers are Tommy Vlahopoulos (Intruders) and Tom Sulkowski (The Rake).
Boosie’s co-stars include Korrina Rico, Jon Gries, Ashlee Macropoulos, Mark Rolston, Jaime Camil, Vernon Wells, and Steven Williams.
This is not the first time Boosie appeared in a motion picture, he starred in other films such as Ghetto Stories: The Movie.
Glass Jaw is set to release later this year. Filming has already started on the project.
