The Movie Tavern in Baton Rouge fired manager who labeled employees as “peasants”

Baton Rouge (PPN)- Pen Point News Investigator reporter Daniel Banguel contacted the Movie Tavern Corporate Office regarding the inappropriate language by a member of manager. The manager reportedly labeled employees as peasants on their work schedule.

Vice President of Marketing, Danny DiGiacomo spoke with Pen Point News regarding the incident.

“Late Sunday evening, our staff was notified that an employee at our Baton Rouge location shared a work schedule that labeled employees with an inappropriate term. This does not in any way reflect the ideals or beliefs of Movie Tavern or Southern Theatres. The employee responsible has since been terminated and we have launched a full internal review of the management team at our Baton Rouge location. Our employees are our most valuable asset and their well-being will remain our top priority.”
