Louisiana Assistant Police Chief Suspended for Racist Facebook Post

Estherwood, LA (PPN) – A photo showing a white woman pushing the back of her baby daughter’s head under water in a bathtub was posted on Facebook by the assistant chief of Estherwood Police Department.

Wayne Welsh racist captain read: “When your daughter’s first crush is a little nigger boy.”

Estherwood Police Chief Ernest Villejoin contacted his long time friend about the meme, “When I found out about it, I couldn’t believe it; I had to call him. I called him at work and asked him what the hell is going on.”

Villejoin suspended Welsh for his poor and inexcusable actions as a law enforcement officer.

“[These] statements don’t reflect Estherwood police, ” Villejoin stated.

The assistant chief stood by his actions despite how offensive it was. “It’s not against the law to share something on Facebook. It’s social media. Internet, he said.

Before Welsh apologized and deleted the post,  he complained about people playing the race card and mentioned the “Facebook police.”
