Lonzo Ball gives hope to the Lakers, scoring another triple-double in the summer league

Las Vegas, NV (PPN) – Rookie and overall 2nd round pick in the 2017 NBA draft Lonzo Ball is giving the Los Angeles Lakers the confidence and boost that they have longed for over the past few years.

Lonzo Ball scored his second triple-double in the summer league leading the Lakers to victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Ball scored 16 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds.

Despite having his own Big Baller Brand ZO2s signature shoe – which are very expensive – he has played his last two games in Kobe Bryant Nike shoes on Wednesday and James Harden Adidas shoes on Thursday.

After the game, Ball told reporters BBB has freedom to wear whichever shoe he chooses but it appears that the ZO2s does not have the winning juice.

Lakers haven’t seen a young thriller balling this good since the legendary Kobe Bryant. While in no way Ball can be compared to Bryant, he did come into the NBA at a young age with an afro just like Mamba.

The Lakers advanced to the Elite 8 and will play the Brooklyn Nets in the quarterfinals on Saturday at 10 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
